God’s love – Seven Flaming Torches

What happens when you say to God, “I know you love me, but your love is not enough? I need the love of people to make me whole”! Our heavenly Father’s heart bleeds and aches after you. God says to you, “If you can embrace my love for you, it will fill all the void and emptiness you feel. You will be so much full of my love that, you will not be desperate for the love and affection of people”.

The Lord appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

God wants to fill you with His love and He wants you to have a heart posture that can actually embrace and receive His Love.

As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.
Psalms 42:1 (NLT)

This is the kind of desire God wants from us. God wants us to long after Him and not for any human being He has created. God wants us to come to this place of knowing that only His love can make us complete. Only the love of God can make us Whole!

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

When we are full of the God’s love, we will have room in our love heart for others. We will have enough to pour out into others. We will move from expecting love from others to pouring love into others, because we have been over-filled with the Father’s Love.

Our love light is like a city on a hill whose light cannot be dimmed. Our love light should shine wherever we go. The light in us should push the darkness away and draw people to the love of God. So brace yourself and receive the love of God given to us freely which exceeds our understanding.
