Step out of safe

A few years ago, my husband and I grew tired of sameness. We realised we wanted more out of life than we were experiencing at that time. This inspiration came from several sources, but the prominent of which were, Water Walker teaching series on Youtube by Dr Daniel Dharius and the Don’t Settle for Safe book by Sarah Jakes Roberts. I will encourage you to check them out. From these teachings, we understood why it wasn’t ok to settle for safe because our environment asks us to do so but to reach beyond and venture into unknown territories.

Joy to the world

It’s that time of the year again, and like most homes, ours is buzzing with excitement with everyone eagerly expectant of the big day. I didn’t get as many Christmas lights out as I would have liked because I’m in the minority when it comes to the number of Christmas lights displayed in my house. I don’t blame them, though! Well, despite the restrictions and lockdown, there’s still some excitement in the air, and we have something to celebrate and look forward to in the next few days. 

But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah. You will recognize him by this miracle sign: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a feeding trough!” Luke 2:10-12 NIV (more…)

The way out is in you

Has life thrown you right in front of the giant Goliath or the raging Red Sea? Are there invisible mountains or obstacles in your way that are preventing you from making the next move towards your destiny? God desires that you run confidently to your giant and slay it with the weapons He has given you. God wants you to trust Him to take you through whatever trials you may be going through. Today I want to draw your attention to the weapons within you that you can employ to overcome whatever obstacle or mountain you may be facing.
