The praise shift

A new song for a new day rises up in me every time I think about how he breaks through for me! Ecstatic praise pours out of my mouth until everyone hears how God has set me free. Many will see his miracles; they’ll stand in awe of God and fall in love with him!

One day at a time

With lock-down rearing its end, matched with the uncertainty of a second wave, I asked God what He wanted to say to His children, and all I got was a “one day at a time”. So on a Sunday afternoon with my house buzzing with excitement about our pending holiday, I felt strongly to pause and write to you to encourage you to take it a day at a time.

As the son of God, Jesus came on earth in human form to relate to humanity. Jesus could have come on earth as a spiritual being, but God knew that humans would find it challenging to relate to a spiritual being. It was no surprise when, at the age of 12, he baffled the religious leaders in the synagogue with His immense knowledge of God. Even His parents were astonished about how their heavenly child showed so much enthusiasm for the word and work of God. I guess like any mother who grows fond of their child; Mary couldn’t move past the fact that Jesus was her little boy and not the heavenly being God placed in her womb. Throughout His life on earth, Jesus demonstrated an amazing relationship with His father, showing a total dependence on God; He always attributed everything He did to His Father. On several occasions, the Bible said Jesus retreated from the crowd to spend time with His Father.
